What/who has been inspirational for you personally or professionally?

My parents have been my greatest inspiration. Seeing them going through ups and downs in life with smiling faces and always coming out stronger each time has always been inspiring to me. I have also been blessed with my husband, who encourages and supports me through all walks of life.

Professionally, I have learned a lot from, my leader, Chris Respondek, who has always guided me and steered me in the right direction whenever I needed his advice.

What has been your best accomplishment or the proudest moment throughout your career?

Being with J&B Medical for almost six years and providing our customers with the best possible service gives me a great sense of satisfaction and achievement. Specifically, when I get demanding clients, I can help them, and they are happy at the end of the day.

What is a mistake that you made professionally and how did you overcome it and/or learn from it?

In the beginning, when I joined J&B Medical, it was easy to get intimidated by upset customers on the call. But under Chris’ guidance and experience, I learned quickly how to calm down the customers by keeping a calm and level tone of voice and helping them out.

As a busy professional, how do you take care of yourself and maintain good mental health?

Every night, I make it a point to reflect on the good things that happened during the day.

Being outdoors in nature helps me a lot to relieve stress. Every evening my husband and I make it a point to unplug from electronics and go to the park and walk. In addition, we love going for nature hikes on the weekends and spending time with family.

What advice would you have given yourself ten years ago?

Surround yourself with people you love and who love, support, and uplift you in return. Don’t let yourself get affected by negativity.
